We are currently in the process of helping one of our secondary schools in Hertfordshire appoint a general science teacher. The position is to cover a long term sick leave and will start ASAP and continue up to Easter.
The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management and behavioural skills and enjoy working with challenging pupils. However, the majority of pupils behave well, with only a few who can be challenging or misbehaving. Experience teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4 is essential, and Key Stage 5, being preferable.
The school is an average size mixed secondary comprehensive for pupils aged 11-18, with a growing sixth form. The school recruits from a wide catchment area which includes Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield. |
