We are helping a client secondary school in Dorset appoint an english teacher to cover a maternity leave on a part time basis, 2 days per week, ideally Tuesday and Thursday. The position is to start asap and will continue until the end of the summer term.
The school are looking for a high quality, well qualified practitioner who has the skill and ability to teach English at both Key Stage 3 and 4, and demonstrate the ability to be organised, communicate well with pupils as well as promote effective teaching and learning.
The school is a smaller than average mixed comprehensive with just over 700 pupils on-roll aged 11-16. The school has established a resource base to meet the needs of those with a visual and hearing impairment. The college became a specialist performing arts college in 2002. The atmosphere in the school is warm and friendly, with good relationships between staff and pupils. |
