We are recruiting for a general science teacher on behalf of a well established high achieving selective grammar school for girls in Poole. This is a forward looking school where they combine traditional values with a progressive curriculum.
The school are looking for an experienced teacher who can teach all three sciences at Key Stage 3 and 4 and your specialism at Key Stage 5. The position has become available to cover a maternity leave and due to commence in March 2010 to the end of the academic year.
The school has 1005 students aged from 12-18 of whom 300 are in the 6th form. The school have a well established reputation which is attributed to a positive school ethos, high standards, excellent examination results, high quality of teaching and a caring and friendly approach. It is a very popular and heavily oversubscribed school with the majority of the girls living in the Borough of Poole and many others coming from Dorset and Bournemouth. |
