Step Teachers and Moore Teachers Come Together from 1st August 2026
We are delighted to announce that, following a successful transition period, Moore Teachers will be fully integrated into Step Teachers Ltd from 1 August 2026.
Since acquiring Moore Teachers in March 2025, we have had the privilege of working alongside a business that shares many of the values that have shaped Step Teachers over the past 25 years. We have seen first hand the professionalism, local expertise and commitment to schools that have made Moore Teachers one of Hertfordshire and Essex's most respected education recruitment agencies.
It is therefore with great pride that we welcome Moore Teachers into the next stage of its journey as part of the Step Teachers family.
For schools and candidates, it will be very much business as usual. The relationships, local knowledge and high levels of service that have made Moore Teachers successful will remain at the heart of everything we do. At the same time, schools and candidates will benefit from the additional resources, compliance expertise and experience of Step Teachers, one of the UK's longest established education recruitment agencies. Schools will also benefit from access to the Government Commercial Agency's Supply Teachers and Education Recruitment Framework, alongside Step Teachers' longstanding status as a preferred supplier to Herts for Learning.
This is another important milestone in the growth of the Step Teachers Group. In August 2023, we welcomed Class Act Teaching Services, one of Oxfordshire's leading independent agencies, into the group. The addition of Moore Teachers further strengthens our ability to support schools across the South East while preserving the local service, relationships and expertise that schools value.
Founded more than 25 years ago, Step Teachers is one of the UK's longest established independent education recruitment agencies. Throughout that time, our approach has remained consistent: building long term partnerships with schools, supporting candidates throughout their careers and delivering exceptional service. While the education sector continues to evolve, our commitment to these principles remains unchanged.
The integration of Moore Teachers reflects our commitment to investing in high quality education recruitment businesses that share our values and dedication to the education sector.
