At Step Teachers, supporting the communities we serve has always been an important part of who we are. Following an incredible year of fundraising, we are delighted to announce that Natasha’s Foundation will be our sponsored charity for the 2026/27 fundraising year.
This new partnership follows the outstanding success of our fundraising efforts for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), where our teams, candidates, clients, and supporters came together to raise an incredible £7,469. We would like to thank everyone who contributed, took part in events, made donations, and helped us exceed expectations throughout the year. The generosity and commitment shown across the Step Teachers community has been truly inspiring.
Building on that momentum, we have set ourselves a new fundraising target of £5,000 for Natasha’s Foundation during 2026/27.
Founded in memory of Natasha Ednan-Laperouse, Natasha’s Foundation is the UK's food allergy charity, dedicated to creating a future without food allergy through research, education, awareness, and advocacy. The charity works tirelessly to improve the lives of millions of people living with food allergies and has played a significant role in driving positive change, including campaigning for stronger allergy protections and supporting life-saving education initiatives.
As a recruitment specialist working closely with schools, educators, and families, we recognise the importance of supporting organisations that help protect the wellbeing of children and young people. The Foundation’s commitment to education and awareness aligns strongly with our own values and the communities we support every day.
If you're a candidate that works with Step Teachers, Class Act or Moore Teachers, you will find you've been offered to take part in our free CPD allergy awareness training in partnership with Natasha Foundation.
Throughout the year, Step Teachers colleagues will be taking part in a variety of fundraising activities, events, and challenges to support the Foundation’s vital work. From team initiatives and community events to individual fundraising efforts, we are excited to come together once again for a cause that makes a meaningful difference.
We look forward to sharing updates on our fundraising journey throughout the year and hope you will join us in helping us reach our £5,000 target. If you would like to learn more about the charity and its mission to create a future without food allergy, visit Natasha’s Foundation.
Together, we can make a lasting impact.
Thank you for your continued support.
