Cover supervisor training

Cover Supervisor Training

Step Teachers provide free training to all our cover supervisors. This is to ensure that our Cover Supervisors are familiar with what is expected of them in this role. The training is led by a qualified teacher who offers a rounded insight into how schools function and how to manage working in a secondary school. A large amount of the training is spent discussing behaviour management as well as tips and advice on how to support students with their learning. At the end of the training, there is an assessment area where candidates can see how much they have taken on board. You can access the training here or by clicking the title.
