​Step Teachers are looking to recruit a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, on behalf of a school in Cambridge, who has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs. The pupil has Autism and is capable of learning and is very positive in their school. Ideally, the right candidate will be able to build relationships quickly and can respond well to the pupil.

Role

• Strong primary education curricular knowledge

• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed

• Ability to assess and report on the students when required

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement, effectively 

Requirements:

• Relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable

• Have recent mainstream school-based experience

• SEND experience is desirable
