Step Teachers is looking for actors, with previous experience working with children, to work as teaching assistants and Cover Supervisors within mainstream Primary and Secondary schools, as well as in SEND schools, working with pupils with special needs.

You may have a background in TIE or other performances for children. You may have run workshops or worked in drama schools that have children attend. Or you may have been a coach of a children’s sports team. Whatever your experience with children, as long as we can get it referenced then we can help!

Our schools provide training on-site, and we provide free CPD sessions that can help develop your knowledge and understanding. If you are considering teaching as an option in the future, this is a fantastic opportunity to see if it is for you!

• A passion for helping pupils whatever their backgrounds
• A real sense of fun

We work with many schools that have worked with actors before and I appreciate that there may be times you need to go for auditions. You can keep us up to date with the Updatedge app so you have the flexibility to attend auditions.
