Step Teachers has been asked by an aspirational school in Hertfordshire to recruit an Art teacher. Applications are welcome from suitably qualified Art teachers, ideally with previous leadership experience and a degree in Art, as the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of the new Art curriculum.

•  Knowledge of the National Curriculum for Art and related assessment practice is essential for a role of this nature.
•  The appointed Art should motivate, enthuse, excite and challenge students to produce the highest quality work.
•  The successful Art teacher should have demonstrable experience and an excellent working knowledge of Assessment for Learning.
•  Ideally the selected Art teacher will have an undergraduate Art degree from a United Kingdom university at 2:1 or above.
•  As Art curriculum leader you will be expected to communicate effectively with a range of audiences, including with pupils, parents and carers, other staff and external agencies.
