​Step Teachers are looking for an Attendance Officer for a school in Tottenham. This is a long-term role and requires the right candidate to start at the beginning of March.

In this school; pupils, parents and carers, staff and governors work together to provide a safe and nurturing environment in the school. Everyone is ‘inspired to excel’. Pupils are proud of their school. They like coming to school and appreciate the support and encouragement they receive.

Role:

• Working across all secondary year groups to support pupils

• Check absences daily and update records accordingly

• Produce relevant daily absence reports for staff.

• Cover for the reception and admin team when necessary.

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a demanding administrative role

• Knowledge and effective use of Microsoft Office and preferably iSAMs.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Proactive and independent in managing workload.

Hours of work:

8.30 am - 16.15 pm, 5 days a week
