A really friendly and welcoming school in Hertfordshire has asked us to find a Biology teacher for a permanent position commencing in March. The position of  Biology teacher would be suitable for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) in addition to those with more experience. As a Biology teacher you will be expected to practise these ideals in addition to the following requirements;

• The successful candidate will hold positive values and attitudes and adopt high standards of behaviour in their professional role.
• You will need confidence and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and philosophy.
• Highly effective communication skills with both children and adults, including parents/carers is seen as a key area of focus.
• The appointed Biology teacher should motivate, enthuse, excite and challenge students to produce the highest quality work.
• The successful Biology teacher should have demonstrable experience and an excellent working knowledge of Assessment for Learning.
• Ideally the selected Biology teacher will have an undergraduate biology degree from a United Kingdom university at 2:1 or above.
