Job description

Are you approaching the End of your teacher training? Or have you completed your PGCE but not yet found the right school to complete your ECT in?

Step Teachers are working with a range of Academies, Independent and SEN schools across North London to source these schools with their ECT’s. With a variety of positions and contracts available, from permanent posts to long term contracts, and schools mentoring you in completing your ECT.

Location

Step Teachers originally started in Southgate, Barnet 21 years ago, since then we have built long-standing relationships with a large cohort of schools across North London, especially in Barnet, Enfield, Haringey, Hackney, Finchley, Wood Green, Islington, and the Tower Hamlet area. We are not limited to these areas so don’t worry if you are not located in or nearby. Our team members will give you an honest outlook on the area you are looking for.

If we secure you a long term contract, you may be employed by Step Teachers and be paid directly by ourselves, with this, we don’t want you missing out. You will still have many of the perks you would receive if you was employed by the school.
