​Step Teachers are looking for an English Teacher to join a secondary school based in Finchley. This role will be commencing from September 2022 on a full-time basis and may lead to a permanent offer for the right candidate.

This school is an “outstanding” Ofsted-rated school based in Finchley where the pupils thrive in their environment and achieve well beyond their expectations. The school's teaching, learning and assessment are exemplary with the school leaders promoting a strong culture of collaborative working with KS3 and KS4 making outstanding progress.

The role will require you to:

• Have a strong curriculum knowledge from KS3 through to KS5

• Have the ability to plan engaging, inspirational lessons across all abilities

• Have the adaptability and suitability to fit in with a well-established team

• Set high standards and expectations for the achievements of all pupils

Requirements

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of

• An undergraduate degree in English is desirable

• Have recent experience teaching English
