Nursery Assistant Opportunity in Barnet, North London
 
Step Teachers currently have an opportunity for a Nursery Assistant based at a North London Montessori Nursery upholding ‘Good’ status. This is a permanent position working with early years on a fulltime basis, commencing in January 2021 or possibly sooner.

The Nursery has asked for a proficient Assistant who has the following attributes:
  • Either a CACHE level 2 or higher with experience of working in an Early Years setting
  • Good knowledge of Montessori is also advantageous
  • To make full use of the updated Early Years curriculum to deliver effective learning strategies
  • Your schemes of work will be creative, varied and flexible enough to promote differentiation
  • Be able to work from 16-40 hours a week (part-time or full-time). The hours can be flexible

This is a fantastic nursery that we have worked with regularly for the last few years. Our supply staff have always spoken fondly of the centre, staff, and children. It is a friendly, caring school with high expectations for all of the pupils. Teachers encourage the children to explore, discover and question through a range of exciting learning opportunities, within and outside the classroom.
