​Step Teachers are looking for an experienced Food Technology Teacher based near Little Snoring starting in September 2022. This is a supply cover role, initially for half an academic term.

The school was rated 'Good' by Ofsted in 2019 and is striving towards Outstanding, they are therefore looking for a teacher who has a passion to set high standards, has confident classroom control and engages the pupils.

Role:

• Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Food Technology curriculum

• Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources

• Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school

• Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide them with constructive feedback

• Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons

• Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these

Requirements:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification

• Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching Food Technology.

• A relevant Food Technology related degree is desirable
