The position of Geography teacher would be suitable for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) in addition to those with more experience. • The appointed Geography teacher should motivate, enthuse, excite and challenge students to produce the highest quality work.
• The successful Geography teacher should have demonstrable experience and an excellent working knowledge of Assessment for Learning.
• Ideally the selected Geography teacher will have an undergraduate Geography degree from a United Kingdom university at 2:1 or above.
• You should have a creative and thoughtful approach to curriculum planning, demonstrating the ability to incorporate national trends and data sets into your approach.
• At the heart of everything you do will be your passion for your subject and the desire to inspire and motivate pupils to excel.
