Job description

A focused and inspiring school in South London is seeking to recruit an outstanding Health and Social care teacher for Btec and A Level for. The position of Health and Social care teacher will begin in March and run on a temporary basis. The school are prepared to consider excellent Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) in additions to more experienced teachers.

As a Health and Social care teacher you will assume the following attributes;

  • To enthuse, lead, develop and enhance the teaching practices of others across the phase, through mentoring, coaching, evaluating, supporting, guiding and target setting.
  • To be accountable for the strategic leadership and management of a phase, within the context of the School's aims and policies.
  • You should have a teaching qualification and a Health and Social care based degree.
  • It is vital that you can demonstrate experience of planning and teaching Health and Social care.
