Job description

A really friendly and welcoming school in South London has asked us to find a History teacher for a temporary position commencing in March. The position of a dedicated History teacher would be suitable for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) in addition to those with more experience.

  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum for History and related assessment practice is essential for a role of this nature.
  • The appointed History teacher should motivate, enthuse, excite and challenge students to produce the highest quality work.
  • The successful History teacher should have demonstrable experience and an excellent working knowledge of Assessment for Learning.
  • Ideally the selected History teacher will have an undergraduate History degree from a United Kingdom university at 2:1 or above.
