HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) – Temp-to-Perm Opportunity, Full-time starting September 2026

Duties as HLTA:

 

  • Delivering planned learning activities and interventions
  • Leading whole-class lessons when required
  • Supporting pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis
  • Assisting with assessment and pupil progress monitoring
  • Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

 The Ideal HLTA

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience working within a primary school setting
  • Confidence delivering lessons and covering classes when required
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • Passion for supporting children's learning and development
