Step Teachers are excited to announce that they are looking to employ a KS1 Teacher to cover a short-term leave in a gorgeous Primary School situated in the North of Devon. This post is set to start ASAP with full-time teaching responsibilities and is set to last for an undetermined amount of time. 
Rated 'Good' by OFSTED, this school have a fantastic reputation when it comes to providing an enriching and vibrant education to their pupils. Pupils are given unique opportunities in this school that allow them to develop and knowledge and gain the skills that are fundamental for young minds to flourish in the 21st Century. The school is also lucky enough to have space in abundance, meaning that areas such as outdoor learning and Physical Education are areas of high priority and importance for all children and adults involved in the school. 
We would love to hear from Primary School Teachers who have a passion for teaching in KS1 and are able to show this every day through their classroom practice. 
To apply for this post, you will need:
  • QTS and a teaching qualification in Primary Education.
  • Referenced experience working in the classroom. 
  • A clear desire to achieve high standards of progress and behaviour throughout the day.
  • Great knowledge of the KS1 Curriculum and its progression from the EYFS. 
  • A positive attitude towards behavioural management that focuses on the restorative approach.
