Job description
KS2 Teaching Assistant & Lunchtime Supervisor – Primary School, temporary until the October half-term, starting September 2026

Duties as KS2 Teaching Assistant:
Supporting pupils in the classroom on a one-to-one and small-group basis
Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Supervising pupils during lunchtime and promoting safe, positive play
Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:
Previous experience working with primary-aged children
Experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable
A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
