Job description

Our dedicated team at Step Teachers are on the search for NTP Tutors in Norfolk to deliver tutoring sessions in Primary or Secondary schools across the County to work with a variety of Primary and Secondary schools.

Step Teachers is now an approved Tuition Partner for the National Tutoring Programme (NTP). The NTP has been designed by the Dfe to help pupils who have fallen behind due to the impact of schools closing because of the pandemic.

To be an NTP Tutor you will need to have one of the following

  •  It is essential you hold a Qualified Teacher with QTS. 
  • Recent experience Teaching or Tutoring in Schools would be highly ideal for this role.
  • A Degree in either Maths, English, Science, Humanities or Modern Foreign Languages

The right candidate must...

  • Have strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and experience in tutoring or teaching in a classroom
  • Be Flexible with the hours you can work and willing to commit to long-term
  • Be Confident in behavioural management skills. 
  • Have an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service

Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer, and eligibility to work in the UK.
