I am looking for a Primary Teacher to take on a part time teaching role for the summer term at a lovely school just outside Welwyn Garden City. The role will include 2 days in Year 2 and half a day covering PPA in Year 5. This Primary Teaching role is for the summer term in the first instance, however in all liklihood the school will need cover in September as well and would like to meet Primary Teachers who would be interested in extending the contract if things go well.

• Given the nature of the role, Primary Teachers with experience in both KS1 and KS2 would be best suited to the role, however there is good support in both phases for the those with less experience
• The school has very good behaviour standards and the successful Primary Teacher will be expected to have a range of robust and creative strategies to maintain engagement
• Effective target setting for children and an understanding of personalised learning are key competencies for this position
• The successful candidate will have ability to develop, foster and sustain high quality relationships with children and adults

This is a slightly smaller than average school in a supportive community and has a very good record with Ofsted. Overall ths students show good improvemnt throught their time in the school and the teaching staff plan across the key stages to ensure continuity. The governors are heavily involved across the school and there are lots of programs in place which ensure adult volunteers operate throughout the school.
