Step Teachers have been asked by an Academy on the outskirts of Thetford to recruit a creative and enthusiastic PE Teacher for a position set to begin in June. The candidate will be covering a planned absence and the position of PE teacher is offered on a 0.6 timetable over 3 full days.

The recent Ofsted report of the Academy rated it as 'Good' where it was noted the school leader were ambitous.  They want the school to become outstanding and they are doing the right things to achieve this.  Teaching has improved sharply because of effective leadership and management. There is rigorous performance management and professional development that are valued by staff and have resulted in positive change

 Our ideal candidate will;

• Have experience of delivering PE in a mainstream school
• Be confident delivering PE lessons up to KS4
• Have an interest and be motivated to work as part of a team
• Have a clear understanding of the responsibilities and classroom roles
