The successful candidate will be required to deliver pre-planned, creative lessons and bring learning to life. You will need to be passionate about children's learning and have the ability to engage them through interesting lessons to push them forward. This role is on a long term cover basis, with an immediate start for the candidate, who can demonstrate the following attributes;

  • QTS or PGCE qualification
  • Knowledge and experience of EYFS to Key Stage 2 framework.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Be resourceful, innovative and able to embrace change
  • SEN experience is essential

The schools' ethos is centred on providing all pupils with every opportunity to achieve their best. Pupils are provided with an environment in which is a safe place to play, the opportunities to try things out and the confidence to explore and create. The dedicated staff provide an open and honest dialogue with parents and guardians, to ensure a collaborative learning approach. This allows individual children to share, reflect and take their own learning forward. All staff ensure that all pupils become valuable and fully rounded members of society who treat others with respect and tolerance, regardless of background.

To be eligible to apply for this role through Step Teachers, you will first need to undergo our registration process, which includes; a face-to-face interview, full referencing, qualification checks and the obligatory safeguarding checks as step teachers are committed to the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment.
