Job description

A school just outside of the Wood Green area have tasked Step Teachers with finding them a talented Learning Support Assistant who posseses the ability of working in a flexible and adaptive manner. The ideal candidate will be happy to support children within the classroom and within their Nurture Rooms too. 

To be considered for this position you will:

  • Have at least 3 months of relevant experience in either Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. 
  • Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification - this is not essential but is desirable. 
  • Have the ability to build and maintain relationships with both children and adults alike. 
  • Experience working with children with SEN on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
  • Demonstrate a keen passion for the progression and attainment of all children with an inclusive approach to your practice.
