Job description

We have been asked to recruit a confident and creative Science Teacher for our client in Finchley who are seeking a Science Teacher of any specialism to join their highly successful STEM Department. The position of Science Teacher will commence in April 2019 and is offered as a permanent contract.

  • You will be an excellent classroom practitioner, who employs well-structured schemes of work to encourage pupils of all abilities to achieve fantastic results and build their skills base for life
  • You will ha QTS or QTLS, and have a practical and innovative approach to your Science Teaching, using every resource available to encourage your pupils to exceed their targets.
  • Demonstrable experience of planning and teaching any of the Science Specialist Curriculums to KS4 is a bonus, but a proven track record of GCSE and A-Level success in any of the Science subjects would be highly valuable to the School.
  • NQTs would be considered for this role, proving that they can demonstrate potentially outstanding classroom practice and secure understanding of the Science GCSE Curriculum.
