An independent School in Lewisham are looking for a strong Maths Teacher to start in September 2019. The position of Maths Teacher would be suitable for NQTs and has the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

As a qualified Maths Teacher, you will have:

• QTS / QTLS is essential, a Bachelors degree in a related subject would be advantageous
• Excellent lesson planning and able to include a variety of different learning methods 
• The successful Maths Teacher should be able to demonstrate previous experience teaching A Level Maths and an excellent working knowledge of Assessment for Learning
• Confidence and a positive ‘Can-do’ attitude & philosophy

• The cohort are from a range of backgrounds and have a diverse level of ability on entry, with the vast majority achieving expected progression or above
• The SMT are deeply involved with the development of teaching and learning and are supportive of all staff at all levels
