Secondary Supply Teacher – Flexible day-to-day and short-term supply, immediate start, flexible days

Duties as Secondary Supply Teacher:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects as a Secondary Supply Teacher
Maintain positive behaviour and a focused learning environment throughout the school day

Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures, and behaviour expectations
Manage classrooms effectively to ensure pupils remain engaged and on task

Represent Step Teachers professionally while working as a Secondary Supply Teacher

Ideal Secondary Supply Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Previous experience working as a Secondary Supply Teacher or within secondary education
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Confidence teaching across different year groups and subject areas
Flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach to supply work
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
Ability to quickly build rapport as a Secondary Supply Teacher in new settings
