Part-time SENDCO Teacher – 3 days per week, starting January 2026

We are seeking a dedicated SENDCO Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school community. Duties as SENDCO Teacher:

Lead and coordinate SEND provision across the school
Support staff in identifying and meeting the needs of pupils with SEND
Develop and monitor individual education plans (IEPs)
Liaise with external agencies and professionals
Ensure compliance with statutory SEND requirements
Provide training and guidance to teaching and support staff
Contribute to whole-school development and inclusion strategies

Ideal SENDCO Teacher:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working as a SENDCO or in a SEND-focused role
Strong understanding of SEND legislation and best practice
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
