Step Teachers has been asked to recruit a Social Sciences teacher for one of our favourite schools in the South London area. The role of a Social Sciences teacher will be a temporary contract position through Step Teachers which will commence immediately. The position of Social Sciences teacher would be suitable for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT) in addition to those with more experience.

• You should have a teaching qualification and a Social Sciences based degree.
• It is vital that you can demonstrate experience of planning and teaching Social Sciences.
• The appointed Social Science teacher should motivate, enthuse, excite and challenge students to produce the highest quality work.
• The successful Social Science teacher should have demonstrable experience and an excellent working knowledge of Assessment for Learning.
• Ideally the selected Social Science teacher will have an undergraduate Social Sciences degree from a United Kingdom university at 2:1 or above.
