Supply Teacher – Primary School

Here is a thriving primary school for pupils aged 2–11, located in Midsomer Norton and part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership. The school prides itself on creating a supportive environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

Duties as Supply Teacher:

Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons across a range of primary year groups
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Adapt confidently to different classes and learning needs
Provide feedback to school staff following lessons

Ideal Supply Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within a primary school setting
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Flexible, professional, and adaptable approach
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
