Supply Teacher – Primary School

Here is a thriving primary school for pupils aged 2–11, located in Midsomer Norton and part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership. The school prides itself on creating a supportive environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

Duties as Supply Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons across a range of primary year groups
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
  • Adapt confidently to different classes and learning needs
  • Provide feedback to school staff following lessons

Ideal Supply Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Flexible, professional, and adaptable approach
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
