Welding & Engineering Lecturer – Further Education College, long-term temporary and ongoing, full time starting September 2026

Duties as a Welding and Engineering Lecturer:

Delivering Welding and Engineering programmes to learners
Teaching practical workshop-based and classroom sessions
Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback
Supporting students to achieve qualifications and industry standards
Maintaining a safe and compliant workshop environment
Contributing to curriculum development and learner success

Ideal Welding and Engineering Lecturer:

Substantial welding experience (essential)
Level 3 Engineering qualification or higher (essential)
Strong knowledge of engineering principles and workshop practice
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Passion for teaching, training, and supporting learner development
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting learner welfare
