Step Teachers have been tasked with finding an enthusiastic and committed welfare assistant for an Ofsted rated school of ‘Outstanding’ status to join their dedicated team of staff. This is a full-time, long-term role and is due to commence as soon as a suitable candidate is found. The school would like to interview candidates as soon as possible.
The school have asked for a Welfare Assistant who displays the following attributes:
- Must be First Aid trained
- Experience is a similar role within a mainstream school is desirable
- Maintain accurate and up to date records
- Be well organised with the day-to-day tasks included in the role
- Keep with the guidelines and procedures relating to safeguarding and child protection
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
