One of our partner schools in Stevenage is currently recruiting for a primary teacher - year 3 to take up a temporary from March. The position of primary teacher is a temporary contract position through Step Teachers and would be suitable for an NQT. The position of a Year 3 class teacher will be required to possess the following;

• As a Year 3 class teacher you will make full use of the updated early years curriculum to deliver effective learning strategies.
• The school are happy to consider an outstanding Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) but suggest that the role might be better suited to primary teachers with experience across the curriculum.
• As a qualified Year 3 primary teacher you should be a creative and enthusiastic practitioner who is able to use all available resources to their full extent.
• As a qualified Year 3 primary teacher you will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with proven ability to understand and utilise current theory and practice in relation to learning and development.

The pupils are well behaved and generally well supported in their studies at home and this is demonstrated by their progression through the School. Ofsted most recently graded them ‘good’.
