A very enjoyable primary school in a lovely part of Camden has asked us to resource a Year 4 teacher. The role of a Year 4 primary teacher is a temporary position on a contract basis from April and the school would ideally like to appoint a more permanent Year 4 teacher to the right candidate given time.
The Year 4 teacher that is successful will need to;
- Have held at least one teaching position within the primary curriculum.
- It is vital that you can demonstrate experience of planning and teaching all subjects in the primary curriculum.
- To make full use of the updated early years curriculum to deliver effective learning strategies.
- The school are happy to consider an outstanding Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) but suggest that the role might be better suited to primary teachers with experience across the curriculum.
This is a lovely school situated in Camden that presents a determined and aspirational atmosphere. We have several teachers already in place on long term and permanent contracts and they tell us of a really friendly staff who work closely with the SMT in order to build a supportive community. Behaviour standards were a particular highlight of the most recent Ofsted inspection and this helps to build a positive atmosphere for all school stakeholders.
Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer and eligibility to work in the UK. Step Teachers are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
