A position of Year 6 TA at a caring school in Camden is now available through us, Step Teachers. The role of Year 6 TA will commence in April and is suitable to a TA that is highly experienced. This position of Year 6 TA is on a temporary basis to begin with but has the potential to become a permanent role.

As a Year 6 TA you should adhere to the following;

• The successful candidate will hold positive values and attitudes and adopt high standards of behaviour in their professional role.
• You should have a range of robust effective behaviour management strategies that can be employed in the classroom.
• A comprehensive working knowledge of learning styles and how to incorporate Visual, Auditory and Kinaesthetic (VAK) learning opportunities into lesson planning/delivery would be a considerable asset in this role.
• Highly effective communication skills with both children and adults, including parents/carers is seen as a key area of focus.
