Step Teachers, a preferred supplier for Teach in Herts, are looking for a Full Time Year 2 Class Teacher in a Primary School in Aylesbury. This full time Year 2 Class Teacher role has an immediate start and is an ongoing supply role at least until the end of term. 

This Primary School is proud to provide a curriculum that is engaging and instrumental in successfully nurturing student to obtain the best results they can and they are looking for a Year 2 Class Teacher who shares their passion. The school has a two-form entry and is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted; the aims of the school are to work in unison with parents and the wider community for the benefit of the students. 

Role of Year 2 Class Teacher:

• Strong knowledge of the curriculum in at Key Stage 1
• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
• Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom, and throughout the school
• Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students
• Able to plan and deliver engaging lesson that can be adapted to the needs of the class
• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Year 2 Class Teacher Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teaching Status
• Recent mainstream school-based experience as a Primary School Class Teacher
• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
• Experience working with SEND is desirable
