​A short history of our Hertfordshire Branch:

The fourth Step Teachers' office to open was the Hertfordshire Branch. The fact that our Head Office was in Enfield for close to two decades meant we were always well placed to service Hertfordshire's schools.

It was on the back of this success that in 2014 Step Teachers was awarded Preferred Supplier Status for Hertfordshire County Council working alongside Herts for Learning. As the county’s go to agency for teaching and support staff, it was vital that we had a real local presence.

Therefore, in September 2015, we instructed Paul Baverstock to open not one but two branches in Hertfordshire. Shuttling between Venture House in Welwyn Garden City and Innovation House in Hemel Hempstead, we were taking Hertfordshire by storm.

With Paul hiring Kieren Adams (now Branch Manager) and Tom Krokou, in September 2018 we decided to move our operation to the Business & Technology Centre in Stevenage; closer to Hertfordshire County Council’s offices.
