Step Teachers has partnered with a charming primary school in Barnet seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Class Teacher. This is a 3-day-a-week role, due to commence in September 2024 to cover Maternity. 

The school is proud to hold a 'Good' grade on its most recent Ofsted inspection. With a long-established history, they are eager for the incoming Year 2 Class Teacher to embrace the school's ethos and contribute further to its successful legacy.

As a Year 2 Class Teacher your position: 

• Strong KS1 knowledge

• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed 

• Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable 

• Ability to assess and report on your students when required 

• Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons 

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively  

To be considered for the Year 2 Class Teacher role you will: 

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of 

• Have recent mainstream school-based experience  

• Have good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
