Cover Supervisor

We are looking for a committed and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a supportive team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality classroom supervision across a range of subjects in the absence of the usual class teacher. Beginning May 2025.

This role is vital in maintaining continuity of learning and a positive environment for students.

Duties as Cover Supervisor:

• Deliver pre-set lessons and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

• Provide supervision and guidance during class activities.

• Ensure students remain on task and complete assigned work.

• Report back on student engagement and any issues to the relevant staff.

Ideal General Cover Teacher:

• Is flexible, reliable, and confident managing classes across Key Stages.

• Has strong behaviour management skills as a Cover Supervisor.

• Is calm under pressure and has a professional attitude.

• Can quickly build positive relationships with students and staff.
