Our Vision

Tiny Step prides itself on providing an unparalleled level of service to our Nurseries and Early Years staff. We are recognised among our peers as being safer recruitment trailblazers and have remained the country’s leading independent, family-run agency since we were established in 2000. That’s over two decades of recruiting, retaining, and placing fantastic Early Years staff in nurseries across London, East Anglia, the Home Counties, Oxfordshire, and South West England.

More than Recruitment

Our passion for safer, ethical recruitment goes beyond supporting nurseries with their staffing needs. The world is facing a critical emergency, and the time for action is now. We’ve taken steps to encourage our staff to cycle to work, reduce printing, and prioritise reducing before recycling our office waste. When we attend recruitment events, we avoid handing out paper-based company literature where possible and strive to avoid using single-use plastic.

Corporate Social Responsibility

We have always believed in looking after those less fortunate than ourselves, so we take our charity work seriously. Each year, the staff chooses which charity we will support and fundraise for. Staff are encouraged to get involved and are offered a paid day off work for fundraising or voluntary work.

Young Minds - Our sponsored charity for 2024/25

Imagine being a young person struggling with your mental health and finally building up the courage to seek help, only to be told you must wait—again and again. For thousands of young people in the UK, this is reality. With record numbers seeking mental health support, many are not receiving the treatment they need. One in six children aged 5-16 now faces a mental health issue.
