We are seeking a Cover Supervisor for a long-term temporary position, starting in November 2025 and continuing until the end of the academic year.

Training at school will be provided for those who are less experienced.

Duties as a Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers

• Deliver pre-prepared work and ensure students remain on task

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Support students with their learning and maintain a positive classroom environment

• Report any issues or student concerns to senior staff

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

• Previous experience in a classroom or educational setting is beneficial but not essential

• Strong communication and organisational skills as a Cover Supervisor.

• Confident classroom presence and ability to engage with students

• Flexible and proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning
