Job description
Cover Supervisor – Daily supply across Plymouth and surrounding areas, starting as soon as possible

Duties as Cover Supervisor:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring continuity of learning
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and manage classroom behaviour
- Support students with their learning and encourage engagement
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Liaise with teaching staff to provide feedback on student progress
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and school policies
Ideal Cover Supervisor:
- Experience working with secondary-aged students in an educational setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Cover Supervisor
- Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt to different subjects
- Confidence in leading groups and promoting positive behaviour
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
