Cover Supervisor – Day-to-day supply from as soon as possible

These flexible opportunities are ideal for Cover Supervisors who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be working across a range of schools in Saltash and nearby areas, providing essential classroom support and continuity in the absence of teaching staff.

Duties as Cover Supervisor:

Deliver pre-prepared lessons to pupils in the absence of the regular teacher
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment
Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behaviour management
Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and classroom activity
Support pupils with their learning and encourage engagement
Adapt to different school environments and year groups as required

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Cover Supervisor
Ability to follow lesson plans and maintain continuity of learning
Flexible, reliable, and confident in managing different age groups
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners
