Step Teachers currently have an opportunity for a Nursery Teacher seeking part-time time work. This is a temporary position exclusively advertised through Step Teachers commencing in January 2019.

The Nursery has asked for a proficient Nursery Teacher who has the following attributes:

  • Either a QTS or PGCE Certificate, with experience of working in an Early Years setting.
  • Experience of teaching Phonics is also advantageous.

  • This is a job share position, so it is vital the correct candidate is able to communicate clearly and fluently with colleagues in a fast paced enviroment.

This is a wonderful nursery that we have worked with regularly for the last few years. Our supply staff have always spoken fondly of the centre, staff, and children. In this school children are immersed in a vibrant and dynamic curriculum that brings learning to life. Staff foster each and every child’s potential, treating them as unique individuals. They encourage and challenge children to achieve beyond what they thought was possible. Along with supporting children to be good citizens and to be proud of themselves and tolerant of the views of others. To be eligible to apply for this role through Step Teachers you will first need to undergo our registration process which includes; a face to face interview, full referencing, qualification checks and the obligatory safeguarding checks as step teachers are committed to the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
