Step Teachers are working with a "GOOD" Ofsted-rated Primary School in Canning Town to find an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team in the nursery from March 2024, working from 8.30am - 3.30pm. This amazing Primary school are looking for enthusiastic and qualified Early Years Teaching Assistants who share a commitment to providing the best care possible for young children.

This role is subject to start in April 2024 and is a long-term Early Years Teaching Assistant role with the potential for a permanent contract. 

Early Years Teaching Assistant role:

• Supporting the development of children’s language and communication skills.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and providing pastoral support to children when required.
• Preparing and setting up activities, ensuring that resources are available and used appropriately.
• Providing feedback to parents and carers on children’s progress and achievements.

Early Years Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• Previous experience in an early childhood educational setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Paediatric First Aid qualification preferred.
