The National Tutoring Programme is a government scheme designed to help pupils who have fallen behind as a result of school closures during the COVID-19 pandemic. The scheme provides primary and secondary schools with funding for targeted academic support, delivered by trained and experienced tutors.
The funding covers 50% of the total cost of this support, and all schools will receive their funding for 2023/24 without having to ‘opt-in’.
