Looking for an exciting, new opportunity? Have experience as a teaching assistant but looking for a new challenge? Step Teachers are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work in Early Years in the Hackney area, with an immediate start. The successful candidate would work in a Reception class, supporting the class teacher and offering assistance to the children to support their academic attainment. The successful candidate will have:
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment for longer time-periods
- Ability to complete various tasks required by the class teacher
- Fulfil the role with confidence and being creative in their work
Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer and eligibility to work in the UK. Step Teachers are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
Working through our Guaranteed Pay Scheme (GPS), you will be available for work exclusively with Step Teachers Monday - Friday within the area of your local office. Relevant qualifications for your tier will be required. You will need to supply a Paid for Enhanced Child Workforce DBS that is on the Update Service. Alternatively, a DBS can be processed by Step Teachers upon receipt of a non-refundable payment of £55.
