Job description

If you are looking to gain School-based experience and develop a career in education Cover Supervisor work may be the way forward! This is also a great option for those looking to apply to Teacher Training courses in the future. As a Cover Supervisor you will be responsible for monitoring the class when the Class Teacher is absent. This is a great way to develop communication skills, behavioural management and confidence needed for a future in education. The nature of this work means you also have the possibility to work part-time.

Requirements:

  • You should have relevant experience in education OR be a recent University Graduate
  • The successful Cover Supervisor will have good decision making skills
  • You should exhibit strong communication skills and be comfortable speaking with Secondary-aged students

We have been working with many schools in the area on a regular basis for the past few years and have managed to build strong links. There is a high demand for Cover Supervisors currently which means we are able to offer a strong flow of work. As Cover Supervisor work is on a daily/weekly basis you have complete flexibility to work part-time or full-time.

Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including: an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer and eligibility to work in the UK.
